By Jeff Sneider || February 3rd, 2012

AnnaSophia Robb (“Soul Surfer”) and Aimee Teegarden (“Friday Night Lights”) are attached to play the female leads opposite Douglas Booth in the inspirational sports drama “Life At These Speeds.”
Leif Tilden will direct from a script by Marc Novak, based on the novel by Jeremy Jackson.

Booth stars as a rural teen who’s forced to transfer schools after a tragic accident claims the lives of his friends. Teegarden will play his hometown soul mate, while Robb will play an over-achiever who struggles to break through his grief and defenses.

Billy Crudup is set to co-star as Booth’s coach and confidante.

‘Speeds’ is the first film exec produced by Sam Rockwell, and Cinema Revival’s Scott William Alvarez is producing with Peter Holden and F.X. Vitolo. Pic is skedded to start production in late March in Mississippi.

“AnnaSophia and Aimee are both such special young artists,” said Tilden. “I’m thrilled they want to help tell this story.”

I have no idea how reliable this source is, but it seems like AnnaSophia has booked another new project, if we are to believe the following article! It’s called The Way, Way Back and costars Sam Rockwell. There is no further information about the film, but let’s hope we find out more soon!

The initial pipeline of nascent projects includes Amy Redford’s Phoenix to star Liv Tyler and Benedict Cumberbatch, Trust Me with William H Macy and Felicity Huffman and The Way, Way Back with Sam Rockwell and AnnaSophia Robb.
